What happens during the treatment? 

​

Profhilo is delivered by a small number of injections just below the skin surface, which creates very small 'blebs' within the superficial layers of the skin. Dr Cei uses tried and tested techniques to minimise any discomfort during your treatment.

What happens after my treatment?

​

Profhilo gradually diffuses within the skin tissues over the next 24-48 hours after your treatment. 

Over the next 4 weeks the bio-stimulating properties take action, by stimulating fibroblasts within your skin, which in turn produce collagen proteins. These factors help to reduce fine lines and wrinkles, improve skin texture and in doing so helps create  a refreshed, plump skin surface. 

Profhilo lasts in the skin for approximately 28 days. During this time the stimulation of collagen and elastin occurs due to the slowly releasing hyaluronic acid.

Profhilo advise two initial treatments 4 weeks apart to maximise the outcome of the treatment, which is visible 8 weeks after the first treatment. Maintenance treatments are recommended every 3-6/months.
